Iran short film ‘Lunch Time’ grabs award at Snakes Alley filmfest

Iranian film ‘Lunch Time’ has grabbed an award at the 2017 Snakes Alley Festival of Film in the US.

The short film won the best short student film award of the sixth edition of the American event in Capitol Theater.

Alireza Qasemi’s short film ‘Lunch Time’ was recently placed among the official selections for Court Metrage of the 70th edition of Cannes Film Festival in France.

The 15-min film is about a high school girl who goes to a hospital to identify the body of her mother who has recently passed away.

The Snake Alley Festival of Film is dedicated to showcasing the best short films from around the world.

This edition of the festival was held on June 21-24, 2017 in Burlington, Iowa.
